We are a Hong Kong based hat piece atelier, tailor making hats for those who wishes to cater their needs of their hats. Benefiting exclusive sought-after light weight, anti-crease treatment fabrics from Japan and Hong Kong craftmanship to produce a limited number of head pieces for who specifically demand our realizations.
All items are handmade in Hong Kong from scratch to finish, by experienced tailors who delve their elan into this artisanal.
Our philosophy of our hats is simple. We only care to offer a very well thought piece that merge very specific functionality and aesthetic to pieces that one can rarely seen on the market.

Very Matters believes in the values of handmade goods.
While machine assembly-line supports the market with standard goods; handmade product generally carries superior design, detailing, construction, and flexibility.
Both hand made and machine made products have their advantages and they are non-interchangeable. Very Matters prefers the former because only hand made products can bring us the unique warm touch missing from machines.
Back in the 1980s, the clothing industry was the most important industrial sector in Hong Kong. There were an estimated of 300,000 workers serving the industry.
Very Matters is pleased to work with the experienced HK cloth makers for our series of hats.
